Frequently Asked Questions

How long should interview answers be?
60–90 seconds for most behavioral questions, up to 2 minutes for complex scenarios. "Tell me about yourself" should be 60–90 seconds. Technical explanations may take 2–3 minutes. Never go beyond 3 minutes for a single answer.
Should I practice out loud?
Absolutely. Answering in your head is not the same as speaking. Practice out loud to build fluency, identify awkward phrasing, and get comfortable with your timing. Record yourself if possible.
How many times should I practice each answer?
3–5 times per story is usually enough. Over-practicing makes you sound robotic. You want to know the key beats of each story but deliver them naturally, not recite them from memory.
